The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) will not be too psyched about your cool new iPod
Nike sneakers. Because as all of you who may have traveled know, you have to remove your shoes at the enormously long line and send them through the conveyor belt with that Nike+Ipod bluetooth device in there. And, if you have wierd shaped metal bluetooth stuff in your shoe, the non-tech-savvy black suited disciplinarians will most likely tech even longer. But honestly it is not worth the 30 minute explanation of what a big ball is in the bottom of your shoe just so you can track your running while on vacation. And seriously why do you need running shoes with iPod support in the airport or while you’re on vacation? you’re supposed to relax on vacation. And if you really want to track how youre running you could just use like an old fashioned pedometer or a slick ipod shuffle. So the lesson is don’t bring your Nike+Ipod bluetooth device on the plane with you; check it in your luggage or most likely don’t bring it at all.

This new product might be called the DirecTV Sat+Go. It looks like some old retro radio from the front when it isn’t opened, but open it up and its a full fledged DirecTV satellite and receiver and screen built into one box. This would be a really cool concept that they could do that but what would people use it for? For the occasional person that wants to watch TV 24/7 this would be great, but face it most of us go to school so this would be a waste. Although you could take it to school and watch playoff baseball during Lunch. Sources say that it will incorporate some sort of Data input which in my opinion should be wireless if they intend to make this true TV on the Go. The data will at least work for the program guides if not for something totally new. Hopefully we see an official release of this soon so we can really see if tis worth it.

Gizmodo has a review of this wheel. They say it is the best console racing experience they have ever had. It is way better than any of the other third party racing wheels. They took the Ford GT in PGR 3 and tired to handle its speed and they were easily able to drive it. They also tried it In Need for Speed Carbon (NFSC). They were going to return the game because it was too much like the old ones. That idea faded away once they used the racing wheel with the game. They also said that the pedals have some resistance and are much better than any other third party pedals. This would be a great gift for anyone with an Xbox 360.It is also wireless so there is no need to worry about the wires. It runs at $149.99 from Xbox.com. It is probably cheaper elsewhere.

An un-announced product was on the Holiday Gift Idea list of Men’s Health Gadget Guide. It is the Nike Amp+. They list it as an Ipod remote that, will most likely communicate via bluetooth. The best part is that it appears to have a small screen in its small watch like form factor. The screen is probably to browse songs. It also works with the Nike+Ipod Sports Kit to display work out information. This would be a great gift for any teenager with an Ipod, if it comes out by Christmas.

After the YouTube purchase by Google, many websites have been hoping for a huge payday. One of the largest of which is Digg they are reportedly looking for someone to pay up with $150 million, but may have to settle for much less. No news from whether or not Google will pay, but they are apparently planning on selling Digg before the year closes.

We just wanted to point out that the top selling electronic device on Amazon is the Ipod. That coincides with what I thought about the Zune in that it would be a flop and that only a few people will buy one. The Ipod still reigns as the best MP3 player ont eh market just as Bill Gates said it would.

This is great news for Itunes users. It has been rumored that the Beatles will be an Itunes Music Store exclusive artist. All of the Beatles fans out there will finally be able to purchase their music online and load it onto the portable music player of their choice.

Sorry for the pun, but it was absolutely impossible to dodge. Anyways, the Wii has been out since November 19 and has certainly started much dispute. As wii all know, this is the first console of its type that actually perceives movement of the remote, and it is a much coveted item. It is able to connect to Nintendo DS’s, the internet, and it even has parental controls. I believe that this item will be purchased much more than Nintendo expected and may even become the new “must have” device. Although the Call of Duty 3 multiplayer does not work for this console. Way to go Activision!

This is actually a full new line of home theater pc’s. It comes with a Core 2 Duo Processor no matter what you choose with Viiv technology and Windows media center Edition 2005. You also get a Gyration Media Center remote which uses a gyroscope to sense movements and make them appear on the screen an cursor movement. It starts at $1499 for the low end model(shown below). and $2899 for the high end model (bigger). The bigger model specs can be bumped to include a blu-ray drive and an extra .5 terabytes of storage, totaling to 1.5 TB of storage.
