The canon 30D…
… certainly the way to go if you want to take nice high quality pictures. For $1400. But with some lenses costing around 5k one could eaisly become lost.
That small black thing on the right is the camera. So althought the 30D does have 8.2 MPx and can shoot 5 fps of super high res photography, its your decision if you really want it that much. But, if you really want to go all the way.. why not just buy the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II for $8,000.
