Recently at the 3GSM show in Barcelona, Spain there was a show of marvelous technological advancements in the cellular phone interfaces. Now, I know that "Harker" blocked a certain fairly popular online video viewing website, and this video appears on that website. So it might be slightly hard to watch this video at school, but you all should be doing academic things only. As you see, this splendid phone with splendid graphics you may be wondering when it will be released and who makes it. Conviently enough, I have one of the anwsers. It's produced by O2 and I don't know when it will be coming out.

Haven't you always wanted to put on your nifty electrode embedded helmet and start up a game of pong with one of your colleagues. Well soon you can! A company called g.tec has invented a prototype of this software/hardware that will allow you to do tasks on a computer. I would personally love to have one of these cause it'd just be so awesome to throw on a helmet and play some new exciting game like pong for endless hours. But unless your too lazy to move your fingers or your Stephen Hawking and are disabled by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, this won't help you on homework. Meaning that you cannot type essays within seconds or do homework within minutes. You cannoth control you computer with this helmet as of yet but hopefully this will be included in a future revision.
So to recap, does not work for work, but it looks deliciously fun.

Alrighty so this is our first Vista article where we actually have the Vista software. Before it was just the beta or some thing we heard. Ok well, my own experiences with Vista go a little something like this:
It was a nice sunny Wednesday and there was a small collaboration around the lunch table. I casually walked up to sit down and eat some pizza. But, with astonishment I saw one of my collegues using is computer. As fast as a bird after a worm, I dashed over and saw he was using iTunes, and he was using it very laggily. He then told me with glee that he was running Vista on his Dell XPS 1210. I decided to do a product test on his version of Vista, because I am such a good friend. So I proceeded with the product test and hit the backspace key twice with two swift motions. Suddenly, out of the blue, he got a BSoD (Blue Screen of Death ( a blue screen that tells u something has gone horribly borribly wrong)). However, this was no normal BSoD. Instead of saying "An Error has Occured," like the normal ones, his said "Error has occured." It also made a wierd WEEE WEEE WEEE WEEE sound like twice a second. Promptly, he force shut it down and tried to restart it. He waited like four minutes while the curser and a black background were the only things visible. After countless force shutdowns, he just decided to leave it and it started working. As luck would have it, this was Vista's way of turning on."
So the moral of this story is that Vista laggs, has wierd BSoD's, and takes a long time to turn on. Also it takes 15 GBs of storage on ur HD, whereas Windows XP takes up around 1 GB. As we have professed in our previous Vista posts, we don't think that this is a payment worth paying for cool effects, but as the saying goes, to each his own.
On a more Microsoft friendly note, I absolutely love the Office 2007 package. I only had the Beta so it stopped working Feb 1st, but now that im using Office 2003 I can see the differance. Office 2007 has a whole bucket load of extra features than 2003. It is just unexplainably wonderful. So go buy Office 2007 and don't buy Vista.
This isnt really technology related, but I thought some people would like to know how we are doing and this is our 100th post. We’ve been through good times and bad times, but we have managed to pull through. Thanks to all of our constant viewers.
The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) will not be too psyched about your cool new iPod
Nike sneakers. Because as all of you who may have traveled know, you have to remove your shoes at the enormously long line and send them through the conveyor belt with that Nike+Ipod bluetooth device in there. And, if you have wierd shaped metal bluetooth stuff in your shoe, the non-tech-savvy black suited disciplinarians will most likely tech even longer. But honestly it is not worth the 30 minute explanation of what a big ball is in the bottom of your shoe just so you can track your running while on vacation. And seriously why do you need running shoes with iPod support in the airport or while you’re on vacation? you’re supposed to relax on vacation. And if you really want to track how youre running you could just use like an old fashioned pedometer or a slick ipod shuffle. So the lesson is don’t bring your Nike+Ipod bluetooth device on the plane with you; check it in your luggage or most likely don’t bring it at all.
After the YouTube purchase by Google, many websites have been hoping for a huge payday. One of the largest of which is Digg they are reportedly looking for someone to pay up with $150 million, but may have to settle for much less. No news from whether or not Google will pay, but they are apparently planning on selling Digg before the year closes.
Sorry for the pun, but it was absolutely impossible to dodge. Anyways, the Wii has been out since November 19 and has certainly started much dispute. As wii all know, this is the first console of its type that actually perceives movement of the remote, and it is a much coveted item. It is able to connect to Nintendo DS’s, the internet, and it even has parental controls. I believe that this item will be purchased much more than Nintendo expected and may even become the new “must have” device. Although the Call of Duty 3 multiplayer does not work for this console. Way to go Activision!

Just this week Call of Duty 3 has come out. Now ever since Call of Duty 1 came out I have been enjoying it switching back inforth from Finest Hour, United Offensive, CoD1, and CoD2. I was delighted when I saw a commercial telling me that the third game in the series was released, but after checking it on Wikipedia I was dismal. Activision will not release the came for PC. Now, I have no clue why, but I am sure that if it was on PC they would have a greater profit. So, you can buy this game if you want it, but I shall boycott it. Heres a picture.

We all know that Apple is pretty good at keeping their secrets and we only dream for those times that someone signed to secrecy states something super secret. Well, just last wensday, someone said that Apple has sent off on order to some Taiwanese company for 12 Million apple phones. They are suspected to arrive some time next year and here is an artists rendering of what they look like.
I think that if they looked like that then everyone would want one.
Now, here is a drawing of what I think they will look like (its made by me).

Pretty cool isnt it?
Well, the PS3 was released last night at 12 and like most large releases, there were a bunch of fools camping outiside of the stores for days just to get their hands on this. I think that is absurd to waste like 3 or more days outside of a store so u can get a game machine, but I know exactly what they are feeling. One day when I was like 12 or something, the GameBoy Advanced was released and I waited outside of Fry’s for 30 minutes! I actually got the GameBoy and it was worth waiting outside, but it was not worth getting shot over. Apparently some people think that the PS3 is though. This is a picture of someone opening the store doors somewhere in New York I believe,

You may think “oh thats just a bunch of people running for a door thats not so bad,” but the injuries are for worse than just a couple of trampled feet. There have been riots, shootings, beatings, and robberies over this small shiny computing box.
